About

Patrick lives in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he enjoys working with UVA international students and raising three wonderful children with a fourth expected soon. He has performed in many orchestras and bands, studied jazz at Virginia Commonwealth University and received a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia. In addition to playing bass, Patrick enjoys arranging, composing, and song-writing.

Background

As a member of the Charlottesville & University Symphony Orchestra, Patrick studies with Peter Spaar, UVA performance faculty and a founding member of the Freebridge Quintet. Patrick studied bass guitar with Mike Anderson in Richmond. He studied jazz double bass with Clarence Seay, who has performed and recorded with Wynton Marsalis and many others. Patrick studied classical bass with Joseph LaPaglia of the Richmond Symphony.

Current Performances

Patrick performs with the Charlottesville & University Symphony Orchestra, plays bass guitar and double bass with Julie Bernstein, and plays bluegrass with Southwater.
